Cherished Companions!

Hank and Gracie, Lisa and Chuck Arnold’s beloved English Bulldogs have brought immeasurable joy and laughter into their lives for the past four years. These two adorable furballs are more than just pets; they are cherished members of their family.

“Our journey with English Bulldogs started long before Hank and Gracie,” shared Chuck. “They are our fifth generation of this lovable breed. With each generation, we've grown fonder of their wrinkled faces and endearing personalities. We can't imagine what it's like to have a fur and slobber-free home anymore, and we're forever grateful for slipcovers to protect our furniture.”

Hank and Gracie have an exceptional talent for snuggling. Gracie can usually be found lounging on Chuck, and Hank, despite his 75-pound frame, loves nothing more than curling up in Lisa’s lap for a nap. Their affectionate nature knows no bounds. These two adventure seekers also have a soft spot for car rides, especially if it involves a treat from a drive-thru. However, their favorite activity is merely being at home, whether it's watching people and dogs pass by the front window of their Hilshire home or just lazing around the house.

“While they love other animals, their hearts belong to Gammy and Grampy, our beloved neighbors, Mike and Joan Weltzein, who always stop by the window daily to say hello,” smiled Lisa. “Gracie, in particular, can't contain her excitement when she spots them, hoping for a treat or a belly rub.”

One of the things the Arnolds adore most about Hank and Gracie is their enthusiasm when they return home. Their tail-wagging and joyful barks make them feel like celebrities every time they walk through the door. When it comes to treats, these two will devour A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G...well except lettuce! Their insatiable appetites are matched only by their knack for snoring. They often joke that they're world-class living, breathing sound machines.

And speaking of funny moments, Gracie once made a daring escape from their house to their neighbor's back door to beg for treats, proving her love for Gammy and Grampy. Meanwhile, poor Hank is a gentle giant who is easily startled by our mischievous cat, George, who hides behind a bush and playfully pounces on him every morning.

Hank and Gracie bring boundless love, laughter, and unforgettable moments into the Arnold’s lives. They are not just pets; they are cherished companions, and they couldn't imagine life without them!
