Jeff and Leonard Jenkins
Jeff and Leonard Jenkins have been cherished residents of their neighborhood for the past five years, their journey having been shaped by diverse backgrounds and shared passions.
Jeff, originally from Missouri, moved to Colorado for work after completing his BA in Business from the University of Central Florida. Leonard, hailing from New York, traveled extensively as a flight attendant for a major airline before making Colorado his home. He holds a BA in Business from New Mexico State University. Their paths crossed during a summer of gatherings with mutual friends in Denver, leading to a deep and lasting relationship.
Jeff has built a successful career selling medical devices for an international company. Leonard, after retiring from his role as a flight attendant, has pursued his passion for yoga, both practicing and teaching it. In addition to their individual careers, they owned an online Western apparel store and employed 25 people, demonstrating their entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to community-building.
The Jenkins household is enlivened by their three rescue pets: Marley, a Terrier Shepherd mix, Iggy, a Corgi Blue Heeler mix, and their cat Charlie, all adopted in Colorado. The pets add warmth and joy to their home, reflecting Jeff and Leonard’s compassionate nature.
Jeff is an avid home remodeler and art collector, while Leonard's passion lies in yoga, both practicing and teaching the practice. You can catch Leonard's Hot Yoga class at TruFusion 9+CO. The couples shares a love for travel, particularly to warm destinations where they can explore lakes and beaches. Holidays, whether spent locally or in tropical locales, are cherished times for gathering with friends and family.
The Jenkins family have embraced the local culture and amenities, now fans of the botanic gardens and quality time at Washington Park. Summer visits to Bonnie Brae Ice Cream and the farmers market are annual traditions for them. Living in the neighborhood offers the convenience of downtown Denver and Cherry Creek within easy reach, along with a diverse array of restaurants, parks, recreation centers, yoga studios, and shopping.
