Agua de Jalisco

A sophisticated cocktail that marries herbal brightness with warm, earthy undertones. Each sip is layered with the smoky depth of bitters and the fragrant pop of rosemary, creating a drink that feels both elevated and approachable.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Gran Centenario Reposado
  • 0.25 oz Rosemary Syrup (see recipe below)
  • 4 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 2 dashes Xocolatl Mole Bitters
  • Flamed rosemary sprig for garnish
Rosemary Syrup: In a saucepan combine equal parts sugar and water with a handful of fresh rosemary. Simmer until fragrant, then strain.

Method:

Add the tequila, rosemary syrup, and bitters to a mixing glass with ice and stir gently until well chilled. Strain into a Double Old-Fashioned glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with a flamed rosemary sprig to release its aromatic oils.

Enjoy the nuanced layers of herbal, citrus, and earthy flavors—perfect for savoring as the season blooms.

Cheers!
