Frespañol Paloma
April Showers Bring May Flowers...and apparently some pretty tasty cocktails as well! Here is one that doesn't disappoint. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1.5 ounces Mezcal (I prefer Del Maguey Chichicapa)
1 ounce fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
.75 ounces grapefruit-infused Lillet Blanc (see recipe below)
.25 ounces Agave Nectar
Grapefruit-infused Lillet Recipe:
Peel 1 whole grapefruit and put into a large sealable container. Add 1 bottle of Lillet Blanc, seal container, and chill in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Pour the infusion back into the Lillet bottle, straining out grapefruit peels first, then keep refrigerated to use for up to 2 weeks.
Method:
Shake and strain into a highball glass with a salted rim. Top with Grapefruit La Croix and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
