Spring for Schools Garden Party Event!

Over 800 educators, students, donors, Bellevue families, and community stakeholders gathered at the Meydenbauer Center for the Spring for Schools 2024 Garden Party. The evening was both a celebration of Bellevue Schools Foundation’s investment in all 28 public schools in Bellevue and a collective confrontation of an inadequate public funding equation. Speakers included students, parents, and Superintendent Dr. Kelly Aramaki, who urged all community members to invest in the Bellevue Schools Foundation. Funding from BSF provides programs to students and educators in the arts, robotics, computer science, early learning, mental health interventions, and dozens of other innovative programs typically cut from school budgets.

If you were unable to attend the Garden Party, there is still a way to join the celebration! Please help “Grow our Garden” and donate any amount towards our $500,000 event goal with hundreds of other community members. Our efforts to cultivate funding for 18,000+ students in Bellevue are ongoing as the district faces a $10 million funding gap next year.
