A Legacy of Trust, A Future in Good Hands
Jeffrey Sleeper introduces longtime colleague Doug Warren as he begins his transition toward retirement.

Doug Warren
For more than three decades, Jeffrey Sleeper has been a trusted advisor, community builder, and advocate for families and business owners across the Eastside. His work has always been rooted in relationships—built not on transactions, but on trust, care, and personal connection. Many of Jeff’s clients have known him not only as their financial planner, but as a coach, friend, ski buddy, and someone who’s walked alongside them through both life’s celebrations and challenges.
As Jeff begins to shift his time toward his beloved Sun Valley and prepare for a new chapter—eventually retiring—he’s making sure his clients are well taken care of with a thoughtful and experienced transition plan. That’s why he’s proud to introduce Doug Warren, a seasoned financial professional with a deep commitment to service and a strong track record in the financial services industry. Doug brings with him 20 years of experience in insurance and financial services, having joined New York Life in 2004. As a consistent qualifier for New York Life’s prestigious Council program and a Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Doug has built a reputation grounded in integrity, expertise, and consistency.
Through Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor, Doug provides fee-based financial planning and investment advisory services. His specialties—estate planning, retirement income strategies, business continuation, and executive benefits—align seamlessly with the areas Jeff has long prioritized in his own practice. Doug and his wife, Nico, have lived in Washington their whole lives and have two children, now grown. Doug devotes his time to both his professional clients and his community. Outside the office, Doug enjoys fishing, hunting, Jeeping, and camping, all passions he and Jeff certainly have in common.
What makes this transition unique is that it isn’t a goodbye. Jeff will remain actively involved, continuing to work with many of his long-standing clients and being available for collaboration as needed. “I’m not disappearing,” Jeff laughs. “I’ll still be around—and reachable. I just plan to spend more time on the slopes and rivers that I love.” As Jeff gradually eases toward retirement, clients can expect the same level of thoughtful service and personal attention, now with the added strength of Doug’s experience and dedication. Together, they share a values-based approach—centered on listening well, planning carefully, and helping families prepare for the future with clarity and confidence.
Transitions like these aren’t just about handing off files—they’re about stewardship. Jeff’s clients aren’t just names in a ledger—they’re friends, neighbors, and part of the extended community he’s helped shape over decades. In Doug, he’s found a partner who shares that mindset. “Jeff has built something incredibly meaningful here,” Doug says. “I’m honored to carry that forward and look forward to getting to know each client personally.”
Jeff may be spending more time in Sun Valley, but his legacy—and his commitment to the people he’s served—will continue right here at home.
