Sports I Play:
Soccer for Chicago Empire Football Club, LFC flag football, baseball for Western Springs Little League & Basketball through Breakaway. I also love to hit golf balls with my dad and play pickle ball
What is your favorite sport that you play? Football is my favorite sport!
What drew you to participate in this sport? I love watching football on tv with my family! My dad is a HUGE bears fan. We have parties for almost every game and it makes it so fun! My favorite position is quarterback and my uncle Mike is the offensive coordinator coach for a local high school football team, and he plays catch with me a lot and gives me lots of tips. Last year, I went to my very first NFL game in Minnesota for the Vikings vs Chicago Bears game and I got to watch two of my favorite players-Justin Jefferson and Justin Fields! Being at a NFL game was very fun!
How long have you participated in this sport? This is my 3rd year playing LFC flag football. I also play for the Westchester Raiders in the spring.
What have you learned from participating in this sport? I have learned that you need good teamwork to win!
What do you like the most about the sport? I love being able to play with my friends!
What is your favorite teacher/coach/ mentor’s name? My flag football coach, Coach Bill, because he teaches me a lot on how to be quarterback!
When I Grow Up I’m Going to Be:
If I don’t become a professional football player, I would love to be a football coach!
Activities/Hobbies:
I love to play football, soccer, be outside, play with my friends, spend time with my family and have sleepovers with my brother and sister!
A little more about Grayson!
I love playing QB for my flag football team. I play right wing in soccer. This coming summer, I hope to go to my first sleep away camp at camp Ojibwa. I went this past summer for a father/son trip with friends from my school and had the best time! I love to go up to my family’s cottage in Delavan, Wisconsin and go on the boat during the summers. I love going on vacations to Captiva Island with my family and driving a golf cart all around the island.
