The company was started in 1964 as a small family business. Cameron Ledford was a young boy at the time and was often found helping his father in the store. He was actually deemed a “flashlight kid,” meaning everywhere you saw his father, you saw Cameron assisting or holding a flashlight. Cameron says that his father was still advertising in the phone book and newspaper in 2017. Cameron changed that marketing approach and the company saw revenue of $75k in 2017. Ledford Billiard Supply was Cameron’s only client and he agreed to lead the company after one year working under his father. By 2018, Cameron “had built the website and imputed a marketing strategy that doubled our sales in 2018, then again in 2019, and we grew exponentially.”

 

Cameron is now leading Ledford Billiard Supply and walks in his father’s legacy. As a kid, he would say “If you want the best, go see my father.” Now, everyone comes to him. Cameron holds customer service as a top priority, even giving out his personal number so his clients know he is one text or call away with a solution. He promotes excellence and high-quality care. Cameron says, “In the furniture industry, clients are stressed with poor communication, long lead times, and damaged products. We try to eliminate each of those!” They put customer service before selling, truly working to satisfy their clients.
