Congratulations to the incredible young athletes of the JL Long 7th grade girls basketball team for an outstanding season capped with a City Championship victory! The Lady Buccaneers showed determination, teamwork, and heart all the way to the top, defeating West Dallas, Anne Richards, and Walker on their path to bringing home the trophy.

This talented group of student-athletes represented JL Long with pride, demonstrating not only strong basketball skills but also the resilience and sportsmanship that make the Lakewood community so proud.
