New Businesses Coming to the Island

As we enter the summer months schedules begin to pick up, more gatherings are planned, and afternoon strolls through Town Center become the norm with no school and work-from-home days that allow for afternoon breaks.

The summer sun also brings new and exciting changes to the Mercer Island Town Center landscape. There has been movement on the new Xing Hua project, a four-story mixed-use development located at 2570 77th Avenue SE and 2885 78th Avenue SE in the Town Center.
New restaurants Alister and Crawlspace Gastro Pub bring vibrancy and food diversity islanders have been looking for to Town Center dining options. Whether a cold beer from Crawlspace, a glass of wine from Pogacha, a delicious pizza from Mioposto, or a refreshing cocktail from Alister you do not have to go far from home to meet up with friends this summer.

Riot Games long-awaited arrival of employees brings new faces to introduce to the community and show them our hidden gem of an island.

Speaking of hidden gems, have you checked out the First Friday Art Walk yet? On the first Friday of each month, local businesses open their doors to host rotating exhibitions from artists around the region. Stroll through the town center while enjoying treats from each stop and maybe even take home a piece from one of the artists.
