Moraga's 2nd Annual 'Rib Throw Down' Fires Up August 29th at Canyon Club Brewery
The Moraga Rib Throwdown returns on Friday, August 29, bringing four Bay Area chefs together for a friendly, non-sanctioned BBQ competition benefiting the Moraga Education Foundation (MEF). The event runs from 4–8 p.m. at Canyon Club Brewery.
The afternoon opens with performances by Lamorinda Idol students, followed by live local bands throughout the evening. Families can enjoy games hosted by Sunday Swing and TAPP while guests sample great food and relax in the beer garden.
Tickets
The MEF Tasting Ticket includes ribs from all four competing chefs plus sides from Live Oak Grilling. A lower-priced option features a single plate from Ofa's Island Barbecue for those who want to enjoy the festivities without the tasting competition.
